A unique exhibition looking at the way Australian artists have drawn pondlife creatures, especially frogs, from 1788 to the present. Come and see real life frog specimens in l9th century museum jars; collectors cases of aquatic insect life from the Museum of Victoria; the first books of natural history drawings from the First Fleet; amazing models of Australian frogs; wildlife artwork from the philatelic archive spanning 60 years; a living tadpole aquarium; light boxes showing the pond life of the Kimberley's; a frog soundscape; and the more humorous side of frogs as seen in popular culture.

A great exhibition for frog and nature lovers as well as for teachers and parents who want their students and children to think about the delicate and important relationship of frogs to the Australian ecosystem and natural environment.

Come and join in the competitions at the gallery and win great prizes!
